Legal Notice

Warranty Terms

  • Consulting services lose their warranty if the configuration baseline of any system defined by ZH Consultores during the engagement is directly or indirectly modified or altered.
  • The warranty applies only to merchandise with manufacturing defects, and in no case to damage caused by water, humidity, drops, impacts, fire, fungus, mold, dirt, oxidation, dust, food, voltage fluctuations, animals, overheating, or damage due to inexperience, negligence or misuse.
  • Do not remove or tamper with warranty seals, labels or serial-number stickers. Doing so voids the warranty.
  • All claims must be made within the warranty period and addressed directly to ZH Consultores, whose contact details appear on the front of the invoice or delivery note. The warranty is void if a claim is handled directly or indirectly through technical services or consultancies outside ZH Consultores.
  • DOA ("dead on arrival") claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery; the product will be replaced with an equal or superior product subject to inventory availability.
  • In other cases, defective products will be repaired or replaced with an equivalent or superior product, at the discretion of ZH Consultores, within 30 days.
  • For warranty claims on sophisticated technology such as laptops, servers or other equipment requiring shipment abroad or the import of parts, ZH Consultores commits to a maximum repair or replacement time of 60 days.
  • ZH Consultores sells products such as computer components and laptop parts that require handling by technically qualified personnel. Damage caused by failure to follow manuals or instructions, willful misconduct, incorrect installation, handling, use or lack of knowledge is not covered by the warranty.
  • The client is responsible for making backup copies, and ZH Consultores is not liable for data loss.

Warranty Period

  • The warranty period for merchandise, parts and labor is six (6) months, with the following exceptions: one (1) month for parts and labor on headphones, speakers, microphones, cables, mice, keyboards, gamepads, joysticks, power strips, fans, tools and rechargeable batteries.

Warranty Exclusions

  • The following are not covered: delicate accessories such as needles, antennas, remote controls, straps, cases, bulbs, plastic, porcelain or glass parts, knobs, etc.; parts subject to wear over their useful life, such as consumables, ribbons, inks, toner, lamps, batteries, etc.; and third-party software and/or configurations purchased individually or as part of a product, or any other type of data.

Limitation of Liability

  • ZH Consultores is not responsible for the consequences of accidents, events, breakdowns and/or mishaps caused by unsafe conditions and risks omitted at the client’s facilities, including (without limitation): explosions, flooding, fire, short circuits, humidity, deterioration, environmental contamination, static electricity, rust, corrosion and overheating of equipment or components.
  • ZH Consultores is not responsible for the consequences of physical or information security incidents caused by loss of information and/or data, theft, fraud, sabotage, illegal access, information leaks, data hijacking, criminal or malicious acts by internal personnel or third parties, corporate espionage, loss of merchandise, tools or supplies, physical deterioration of materials or equipment, labor disputes, business crises, misuse of technology, or total or partial interruption of the client’s operations.
  • Although we sell security cameras and CCTV equipment, ZH Consultores does not provide CCTV monitoring or video recovery services for cameras or DVR/NVR devices. All handling and management of audiovisual material captured by video surveillance equipment sold by ZH Consultores is the client’s responsibility.
